  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hej guys,

    maybe a stupid question, but is the time i see here on Phun the same as for ex my American friends ?
    Sure it can`t be.
    Just wondering, as i was about to post another girl in "Pic of today" at my time just after midnight,
    but noticed that "today" for me is still about 7 hours in the future for some and for others even in the passed.

    Not a big deal, but anyway.
    Should we agree on CET or what ?

    Nope, it uses the time that you have have set in your options:

    Settings (UserCP link in top right) > General settings (look on left in sidebar) > Date & Time Options > Time Zone.

    It takes a central time from the server (and timestamps saved with posts in the db) and then applies your time zone offset. For instance, mine currently says around 7:36pm (US EST)

    Yep the server (is likely) set to use UTC and saves times that way behind the scenes. Then when it comes to actually display it, it adds an hour for you because of your settings and subtracts 5 hours for me based on mine.
