  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Also keep in mind that the first 10 threads you want to make need mod activation, and make no changes in it till it's approved by a mod

    Not all. Just the ones recently bumped. Otherwise they'll keep getting bumped. At least delete the recent posts so the threads don't appear at the top of the list. It has been done before.

    Those aren't linked via a filehost, but hotlinked directly from a URL using the "Insert Image" function (third from the right) on the Quick Reply toolbar. I use that myself sometimes.

    That applies to imagehosts only (imagebam, sharenxs, etc). Deviantart isn't an imagehost.
