I just pictured Linus riding behind Brooke like the fat guy in the NES "Mike Tyson's Punch Out" game. Like when you were traing for the next fight. Even if no one else laughs that is damn funny in my head.

RBA called Fahrenheit 9/11 a POS on AIM. And he argued that The Guardian UK and the BBC are trash. I have to get off the computer now, I am too mad.

Does anyone in America know anything about politics? Or does everybody watch Fox News, like it's News, and not 24-hour paid programming for this current administration.

Even if that was a pitty laugh I'll take it :)

And Linus don't take this the wrong way because this is just one guy to another guy (and I have done a few shots now) but that is a damn cute picture. Hiding behind the tree like that. Although the grave stone does make it a little weird.

I'll hold up a "W" sign and take a punch if it will make you feel better.

I would never watch Fox news Kory, and I'm a little insulted you got so fired up over my referencing of Fahrenheit 9/11.

As much as Fox news is a spouting point for the republicans, that movie was clearly even more a blatant propoganda piece designed merely as a political cartoon.

I hate the bush administration. Loath them. But trust me, a little research (unbiased dammit, not the kind they teach in european socialist countries) will quickly prove that however factually accurate the movie is, it is entierly CONTEXTUALLY inaccurate.

I went out hoping to see that movie and learn someting useful. Hoping it would change people's minds. Maybe if it hadn't been so damnably blatant and nonsensical it would have. In the end, all it did was enflame the rightwing enough to destroy whatever limited good it did accomplish.

The thing I worry most about, is the tendency of good well meaning people who hate this administration to let that hatred drive them so towards irrationality and paranoia that it destroys their credibility.

Michael Moore is about equally as credible (at best) as Dick Cheney. They are the same kind of evil in mirror image.

And i'm only writing this here and wrecking the champagne room in the process, as an apology cause you wouldn't let me explain or finish and I'm betting you'll read this here.

Hoping that you'll unblock me sooner rather than later and find out i am NOT a right wing nut job.

I disagree with you RBA I am a Democrat and the only news show I watch Besides "ABC World News Tonight With Peter Jennings" Is "The Fox Report" I do not find that show to be to the right at all. In fact Shepard Smith is also a Democrat. I have never watched Fahrenheit 9/11. But the one thing that I do now is that Brooke is a [IMG]

See this is what happens when people are drunk and start talking about Politics or Religion. Well even not drunk but especially when drunk. Oh well it will all blow over in time. I saw a guy almost get thrown into a bonfire once because him and another guy starting fighting about Bush and Kerry. It was a little scarry. Just be glad it is too hot for bonfires RBA.

Anyway, Let's talk about how freaking hot Brooke is in these pictures. I mean I have a schoolgirl thing anyway (that's what years of Catholic School will do to ya) but I mean DAMN! AND a similar set of Riley is on the way! Thank god for Florida and Kittens.

RBA, you aren't gonna get banned. Not cause of me.

I guarantee I read more news than anyone on this forum. That's not an insult to anybody, it's an admission about myself... I read and read. I read the domestic wires, AND the foreign press outlets. The larger patterns I've observed, and the facts I've gleaned in the past four years of close political study is impossible to distill in AIM conversations, or Phun forum posts.

So I'll just enjoy my drinks out here, and sidestep this topic in the virtual world.

You can tell by know what side I fall on politically.

I was raised a Republican, and I still am, in a way. But the GOP is up to terrible things on many, many fronts. The people who say differently are one of three things, in decending order of badness: simply misinformed, stupid, or evil.

To say F911 had a biased delivery is actually simple, true observation. But so was the news, leading up to, and including, the beginning of the invasion of Iraq. F911 is the counterpoint to the mainstream media's product in that time period. It was the hard, painful truth, coming on the heels of the soft, flag-waving Karl Rovian spin.

You said you want to be able to look a Marine in the eye about your political views? Marines are warriors. We point them somewhere, they go and destroy on command. It's not up to them where they are going, or why. The fact that a person who picked the art of warfare as a career might tend to be a bit-trigger happy in his forign policy is not only NOT a surprise, it's pretty much par for the course in all societies. It's expected. It's a sign that the right people are in the military if they are ready to fight for us.

I love the people in the military for taking a job protecting America. They are giving an awful lot.

The least I can give back to them is my dessent when I think their lives are being taken for the wrong reason. The war in Iraq was orchastrated years in advance to line the pockets of the military industrial corportaions, Haliburton, The Carlysle Group, and Oil Companies with ties to the Bush family. It was finally launched under the guise of a War on Terror. I see oportunism, not a conspiracy.

    And that ain't any better.

The BBC has a degree of objectivity on this war. Their presentation "The Power of Nightmares" will eventually be considered The Word on this decade, and this conflict. And then I'll be saying I told you so AGAIN, just like already have about the bribed "experts" the fake news updates, and the reason for the war in the first place.
