    Thanks for the tips, but everything is and was updated. I use Norton 360. Perhaps it was just a coincidence that I had an intrusion at the same time.

    I doubt that. Did you actually get a virus or did your Norton just tell you it quranteened a virus?

    It's nothing Bush sucks did if it happened. Often times, it's an ad from the picture host that a poster has no control over.

    Look into adblock, I use adblock plus. Then you won't have to deal with that stuff. ;)

    Norton said it blocked the intrusion, but my PC slowed to a complete craw. I tried the power eraser but it didn't find anything, so I found a restore point and it help get things close to norm. Is there a anti-virus you recommend? I always hear competitors (like PC-matic) saying their product is better than their competitors. I've heard PC-matic actually causes a virus on a PC, who knows what to believe.

    MadamMeow comment below has an explanation of what happened, sorry for jumping the gun.

    I'm not sure what browser you have, so you can pick that out from https://adblockplus.org/. Next to the big button for "install for chrome" you will see little icons for all the other browsers.
