    Then added the font.


    I cant really teach anyone here how to use the brushes. Most of the ones that I do have, were custom installed.
    The hard part is learning how to blend color. The only way to learn that is through trial and error.
    I very rarely ever use any cutting tool. I always insert the pic, and then brush it and blend it.
    Sigs with cut images dont look too smooth enough for me. But thats just a opinion. Do what is better for you.
    I hope this helps a little.

    Use the pen tool, it's easy and accurate, you can even cut a single pixel. Once you made the path, copy it into new layer (Ctrl J). Drag it into any pic you want. Merge the layers and use the blur tool to soften the lines if you want. Online tutorial:http://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/pen-tool-selections/

    I also work with layer-masks. Online tutorial:http://www.photoshopessentials.com/basics/layers/layer-masks/

    You can also use blending options like darken, lighten, overlay, vivid light etc...
    Just look at http://www.photoshopessentials.com they have easy to understand tutorials about everything.
