    The two outer pics of Nora demonstrate how difficult it can be to assess a girl's age - she could be only 15 in these pics, trying hard to look grown up - cute, as you say - dangerously so! (Maybe she was only 15 when these pics were taken?) There seems to be a sort of "magic" age that girls tend to aspire to, and they constantly strive for it - the younger ones trying to look older and the older ones trying to look younger? Do girls ever recognise when they've achieved that "magic" age, or is it just a fantasy?

    PS On reflection, and before somebody accuses me of sexism, I should point out that boys and men demonstrate similar characteristics, and it's a human condition - not gender-specific as I implied above.

    Christ i would feel very uncomfortable if my dentist wore a spacesuit. Then again i have a minor case of dentist phobia so im always somewhat uncomfortable.

    Nora is 39, making her 25 in her "Heroes" debut in 2006.
    I think every kid regardless of gender wants to be "Grown up", i know i did!
    I was "How old are you?", "I'm 6 and 3/4".
    Now we of the Female of the Species have make up in their armoury that can (used correctly) to age you.

    As far as looking younger, again i think that's gender free?
    What of middle age men dressing "Young" or the middle life crisis brand new open top sports car?

    I've met Women in their 60's and 70's that are younger in attitude and me.

    Or as one said to me "Beauty comes from within".

    Here goes
    We were having a full English breakfast in a old school café (no i did not have a mouth full of sausage).
    We (my friend and i) were minding our own business and demolishing our breakfasts.

    This Guy (i'd say in his mid 20's) comes up and asked if I was a porn star called Anna.

    He might of expected me to be a shy girly or just say fuck off.
    But i don't subscribe to the "I'm a Woman you're a guy and you can't talk to me".
    If you want to be gutter, i will tell you to fuck off, but if you're asking something or just talking, its ok.

    Ok back to the cafe.
    "Are you a porn star called Anna?".

    I said "There must be a load of Anna's in porn, which Anna?".
    He replied "Anna from Perverse Family".
    I looked at him.
    He asked "Do you know what that is?".
    My friend nodded.
    I said "I said my friend does, she knows her porn".
    My friend "I know my porn".
    He looked at me and said "Well?".
    I looked back at him and said "Well".

    He left.

    That is an interesting point. And i noticed it when i saw lolita. For that fiction to work the actress playing lolita must be at that point in her youth where she is both a woman and a child. Its still pedophilia of course but i would recommend anyone interested to check out Kubricks version of the novell.

    I notice that one of my recorders is recording Ep 5 of 8 of the "Harlots" series on BBC 2. I hate watching series and much prefer binge-watching them retrospectively, but has anybody watched it and can recommend I do just that?

    I really pick my time to go on holiday by the sea and i mean right by the sea.

    Just as what's left of Storm Ellen passes through.

    The sound of that storm all around last night was worthy of Harry Potter SFX.

    "Harlots" history is a strange one, it was hidden away on itv3? years ago.
    Plus it was moved around the schedule and went under the radar for many.

    Now they're all on BBC2 (and as far as i know series complete on the iPlayer).
    Great cast, but see it alone for Jessica Brown (Downton) Findlay!!!!
