Yeah, that proves my theory that Twilight made her miserable, cause that forced them all to be something they weren't for PR purposes of appealing to conservative middle America and narrow-minded tweens. But it at least gave her the money to just do whatever project she truly wants to do now, since it doesn't seem like she lives a big spender lifestyle.

Showing I went to yesterday, someone brought a 6 month? baby to see it, who in the fuck brings a baby to the cinema?

 

Oooh, that's a pet peeve of mine. Same with bringing little kids to a movie not aimed at kids, simply because they're not gonna stay still or quiet throughout, what the fuck are you thinking? I didn't go to the theater to feel like I'm at a daycare or babysitting. Either put a muzzle and leash on the brats or don't bring them(my bad experiences with kids here are coming out I know). But not everything should be about children. Sorry, they should have their things and those of us who have hit puberty should have ours without worrying about catering to kids.

 

It was a whole family so I can understand its difficult if they want to go to see a film.
There were older children (7 or 8) and I'd say a three or four-year-old.

They loved it and were quiet through the whole film, the poor baby was in the dark, with loud noises and a big light on the wall.
It was asleep then woke up and..

First, the Mother took it to the very back, then eventually came back, then the Father took it to the back of the Cinema and came back
when the baby had fallen asleep.

Most cinemas won't give admission to babies in arms, nor do London theatres, but some now have shows especially aimed at them.

My Aunt suggested rather than me looking at the wall/tv/pub/rain for the four days Bank Holiday weekend (I've got a day owned to me) that we go away for a long weekend.
So to cut a long story short, we're going to Malta aka Kings Landing!

Flying/accommodation is 40/60% dearer for the UK Public holiday than the weekend after.

 

How come I'm never around kids that well behaved? Maybe it's just a middle America thing(god, I need to get out of here).

Successful working day: Avoided all GOT S8 ep3 Spoilers, now to get to 9pm and see it followed by S2 ep4 Killing Eve.

Just been reading an interesting BTS encounter a Journalist had with Emma Watson during the "Beauty & the Beast" press junket.

Before today's audience with the former Harry Potter graduate, journalists had to sign a clause-filled contract. The immovable interview terms demanded
no personal questions of any kind; no questions about her background; no mention of La La Land (Watson reportedly turned down Emma Stone's Oscar-winning role).
Basically nothing beyond the fairy tale.

Now, "no personal questions" is a frequent request delivered by the movie PR folk but usually comes as a verbal, quiet warning not to venture down the path
of messy divorce or criminal activity. A binding contract this inflexible, however, is something else entirely - something I have never encountered before.
