i too have seen several forums die slowly becasue of the same thing, yesterday you had millions of hits. but within a few month, you'll be desperate for any visitors.

the only thing that this forum ever had going for it was free downoads of copyrighted material. now that that's gone, ppl are going to start flocking to bittorrent and (password sites?). so basically yes, this is the death of phun. but oh well, shit happens. guess i should have done more with my (easily)90+ bookmarks awhile ago.

i guess i should've expectd as much, as what went on here was always a certain level of copyright infringment. but then again if you look @ it that way, i shouldn't download mp3s or movies either.

what are they gunna hand out free blowjobs? no free porn means that nobody cares..... just tellin' it like it is.

 

I understand why it's had to be done, but i really feel your shooting yourself in the foot Cayne.

You say that the forum should be an extension of the main page not the other way round, well i think your going to lose out big time then.

Your only one guy, you can only post a limited amount of interesting content, this forum wasmassive, with many contributirs and thousands of more leechers which we know you benefit from due to the in-forum adverts.

This is definitely the death knell for phun in terms of its popularity, sure you might still have amateur model posts and the like but simply put the level of content won't be there, so neither will the fan base.

I'm not going to stop visiting phun, i just think it'll be a lot less frequently!

 

well back to the 40 or so sites that i had bookmarked with free movies, i just liked this place cause it was all here.

people forget, phun wasn't that much better then othersites/programs. It's inconvienent to do the RS thing unless you paid or abused the anonymouse thing while it was up, or you'd have to post a lot to get the ysi/ff links. so dont act like phun was the only site you could find quality porn on. you're just too lazy to use google or your own brain to find other quality stuff out there.

besides, phun isn't really gonna die. there's too many hardcore people here, people like fowl no-sweat and the good doctor who talk and make things interesting, not just post post post, download download download.

Talk about bad timing...I just get my new system up and running, dig out the ol' cd-r's I've been collecting for a couple of years, and start uploading to RS to share with the rest of you...and this happens! LOL

Yeah, I was a leecher for a while until I got the movies I was planning on posting transferred to the new computer...go ahead and trash me all you want, I completely understand...but with all the rules of how to post the links in the threads, and have a certain amount of vidcaps (which I had never done before - that wasn't as easy as I was told it was going to be), and make sure it was "hxxp"...it took me longer to post the link to the ONE clip I was able to upload than it did to transfer the files to my HD!

I'm going to miss the opportunity to share my stuff (I had uploaded some of Andrew Blake's "Pinups 2" last night to post today), but as has been said MANY times in this thread, there are other places and other forums.

I'll miss it - it's been phun reading all the egomaniacal postings of the people who would only share the links to contributors! LMAO!

You can still get your free porn here like any other forum/board. We were posting way too much content from sites.

I bet many other places like Phun, will have to follow suit.
