Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Haven't gotten a chance to start Page 53 yet - been a very busy week, and not much time to do more than see what's going on. Probably won't get too many done this weekend either. I'd highly recommend that some start trying their own pics, so far a couple people have followed my guide and are producing some positive results of their own. Most recently imation85 did a very good job on his first attempt. It'd be nice if some others would spend the time to learn how to do it well (not just make things up) and help out in here, that way there wouldn't be the lag time occasionally since there are always more requests than I can reasonably grant. Just using the brightness/contrast controls to recognize which pics have enhanceable details isn't that hard to do, and once you have a picture with possibilities, then you can go to town!

    I don't even know where the original pic is located - I searched on your username and didn't find it, but that one doesn't have enough detail. Might be from re-saving it and the added .jpg compression.

    I am having a hell of a time with the contrasst. When I increase it too much, it gets too fucking grainy and I lose all of the detail. Is there any way to avoid this? Thanks in advance for any advice you may have.

    Depends on the pic - if it's a small low-quality image with bad lighting, nope. You can't fix a bad pic without making it up.
