Hi there fantastic work! I tryed myself with a few photos but i cant figure it out, so i let you pro handle it -

Can someone PLEASE at least try these for me? I know I will probably get the "they are not big enough it wont work responses" but others have faked similar pictures (in both quality, size, etc) and I was more than happy with them. ANYTHING is appreciated...I'll pay you even if that's what it will take...

c-through is the expert. I'm a wanna-be. I'll post my guide for good candidates (again). But as mentioned, it does no good - people keep posting crappy candidate pictures. And then whine and beg "please? Look at mine!!" etc.. So although my attempts were marginal compared to c-throughs, I've quit making any x-ray attempts.

RULES FOR GOOD XRAYS

Photos MUST BE:

- Large Photos
If it is only 4x6 inches when full size on the computer screen, it won't work. It needs to be a BIG photo

- CLEAR in focus photos

- Showing the woman's breast on a "front on" shot. Not sideways.

- Showing a woman in a SOLID colored top. Black or White is probably best. Patterned shirt/bikini top will NOT work as it is too busy and you can figure out where things are and the pattern blocks the xray (it acts as camoflage does, sort of)

- Of a woman wearing THIN material (no bra)

- Having some type of light shined on the front of the woman. Sunshine is ok. Flash is great.

In essence, the light goes through the material and bounces back off the nipples - but you don't see it due to the fabric. The photoshop techniques filter out the other colors and help bring out this reflected light.

If there is no light, if the picture is out of focus, if she is in a patterned shirt, if she has a thick bra under a thick shirt, etc... IT WON'T WORK SO DON'T BOTHER POSTING THE PHOTOS. THEY CAN'T BE XRAYED.

If anyone wonders why the xrayers get frustrated because their comments and requirements are ignored, there's no better example than this. After a full page of discussion about what type of picture is needed, THIS is the first thing posted.

 

Yup. And it is usually somebody with a grand total of 3 posts or so.

But that's how the internet works. Something good is created, and then eventually it gets overrun by too much noise/blather/bad posts.

 

Ok, here's an incredibly easy one. I was able to get some results, but nothing super impressive.

 

I definitely understand your trepidations but his is a "porn forum" on the internet after all. Maybe you could help us all by sharing your x-raying techniques, therefore giving the people who are actually interested a chance to find out what works on their own and to understand the concept

I can add one more. X-raying is just a term. Actually, all you're doing is changing lightness and color of some of the pixels. So, look close at your pic. If you don't see anything there, you'll almost never get anything out of it by x-raying it. You can't emphasize something that isn't there to start with.

 

C-Through has already written an excellent tutorial on this forum for those who want to delve deeper. However, if you want a quick and dirty, here it is:

1. Select your area and play with the sliders in the levels tool under image -->adjustments in the menu. If you can't pull anything out at this stage, give it up. It's not there

2. Gently burn the darker areas and dodge the lighter areas

3. Adjust the color to match skin tones.

That's pretty much it. There are other tools which can add a bit, like manipulating the channels, unsharp mask, desaturate, etc, but the effects are subtle and everything can look horrible pretty quickly if you're not careful. These 3 steps are the biggest changes. If you want more realism, and really make it look "real", then I suggest C-Through's tutorial.
