Allowed picture hosts - a humble suggestion

Good "leaders" listen to and think about what "common people" say. :SAD:

There are enough good hosts on Phun for the moment. There is nothing wrong with the "leaders" we have here. As soon another host will be added the leaders will look at suggestion made by members.

Taipan already told "Input / suggestions are allways welcome,but at the moment we are happy with our list." so that should be enough.

If you keep pushing the mods may push back and give you some time-off in the form of a temporary ban.

 

I dn't want to push anyone or anything. This is a discussion and I discuss.
My problem wizh imagevenue is: Using my standard browser Firefox I upload 2 pics (300x300). The next time I try I mostly get no response (no codes). Deleting the IV cookies before the 2nd upload can help ..... sometimes. A 3rd upload is always impossible. Worls better with IE, but I don't like ro use IE for security reasons. There is no other file- or pichost that causes similar problems. I like Imagevenue and Stooorage because they offer 300p previews, but Imagevenue is problematic for me. That's all.
You rule the board and your wish is command. I have no problem with that butwith Imagevenue.

That's your problem, imagevenue works fine.

And mods told it plenty times: No new host needs to be added for this time

If you don't like the rules of the forum you always can leave.

In real life there are also rules you have to life by and those rules you can't set to what you want.

 

Huh.. I use Imagevenue all the time with Firefox - never had an issue with this at all. Weird.

And yeah, the 300p option is quite nice - you may want to try ShareNXS as their "large thumbnail" option is also 300p.

BTW all. Imgur? HOLY MOLEY! What a fantastic imagehost for single pics! :thumbs:

 

IV was one of the first recommended hosts we had here in '04, before we ever had an 'approved' list, and it has hardly ever let us down.

 

ever since i first used imagevenue any other host hasnt been an option. For single pics or gifs i use imgur.
