    well it wasn't safe to drive or walk into work today, we call them Storm Days. have a little blizzard going on. some people can't fucking drive, I was driving on the road and some Lady was driving in the middle of the road so I had to pull off to the side. drove into the damn snow bank. so I had to call my coworker and he picked up our Loader and pulled me out.

    so our Offices shut down. so basically get to come home and chill out to wait out the storm.

    Yesterday I had a discussion with a friend on film vs digital photography.
    Contemplating on buying a digital I'm still pretty much a film-die hard but anyways he lend me his Canon Eos for a few minutes just to see how well it behaved.
    So, apart from my old 6mp point and shooter I use to scout locations, this is my first step in digital dlsr photography. ;)

    [​IMG] Yesterday, late afternoon, on my way to the cemetary.


    [​IMG] At the entrance to the cemetary, trying to catch that plane in the middle.


    [​IMG] When the evening fell the clear skies began to shift and clouds came in dramatically lit by the sun.
    Normally the tree would be dark due to the head on sunset. However there were some low spotlights lit onto the pathway ... so I repositioned them upward to the tree to balance out the sunset glow. Some minutes later the caretaker came yelling at me to keep my hands of public property ... whatever ... I had my shot. :p

    I'm sure you all get really tired of the snow after having to shovel it all year and deal with the traffic/travel issues because of it. But these winter pics are just pure and simple beautiful! :love:

    Riv and TCF, the way you capture the surroundings with the snow is very nice! Kudos on your camera skills! :cheers:
