    My father, an excellent photographer in the analog era - often said, "The difference between a good photographer and a great one is about five more rolls of film."

    I jokingly would reply, "So the difference between a good photographer and a bad one is someone who can AFFORD to pay the processing on five rolls of film at the local photo store."

    Back in the film days, I was also hesitant to take shots - afraid to waste film and money on processing for bad photos. I had to condition myself to stop thinking that way after I got into digital photography. It took awhile. These days, I think nothing of shooting 400-500 frames during a 4-hour shoot with a model in the studio.

    well here is what they offerd me,
    i tried to upload eight photos, but i got an error saying that my photo was over 3mb and that my ip had been loged, so now imagebam is comming to the house to fight, so i have that to look forward to.
    anyways,i tried to capture autumn, so here enjoy my autumn.

    Sometimes fog can be your friend when edited right in PS.
    Subtile adjustement to the a&b channels (LAB), unsharp mask in the Red channel (RGB) and blended with a bokeh copy layer ... some masking.

    Really nice work here, guys. I'm getting the itch to visit a few places again. I hope I'm not too late.

    I need to stock up on film again. I've also been very tempted to buy a trail camera. I know, cheating, but I'm very curious to see the activity in a few spots when I'm not crashing through the woods.
