  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hello,

I tried to upload a video to post with rapishare. I left it to do so (my connection is slow) and when i came back it said my content had been black listed. I renamed the file and tried a second time, but again after it had uploaded I wasn't given a link because the file had been black listed. I've tried a third time and still have the same problem. I just want to know why this is happening, I've uploaded many times before and not had this issue. The file format is .wmv and it's about 70 Mb in size. The upload goes on as normal except when I should be getting the link I get nothing.

there are more ways for RS to identify blacklisted files than just the filename.
at least they check file-size and a checksum. only the change of the name doesn´t change the checksum. you need to change the file. add a pic, for example.

Thanks. I can't believe I was so stupid, I didn't even think of doing something like that.

When rs blacklists a file it also blacklists the MD5 control sum of the file, means renaming the file doesent help.

Here's an easy tool to change the MD5 of every file with a right click of your mouse.

    Rapidshare Fucker:

"Tool to Change MD5 Sums of Files and to FUCK the MD5 Filter of Rapidshare. Just rightclick on the file (or mark more then 1 with Ctrl+Mouse) and choose "Rapidshare Fucker".
