    It could really be her, since she didn't use a body double for her nude scenes last season. Here's what she said about her sex scenes last year:

    Do I feel comfortable doing sex scenes? I don’t. I mean I’d rather not do them but I’m always interested in characters who have kind of wild spirits – so sex scenes are quite inevitable. I think as long as it’s all handled sensitively, which it always is, it’s fine. I worked with Josh pretty much all the time. I only had a few scenes here and there with everybody else but he’s lovely. He’s chilled and he’s gentle and he cares a lot about the work and the preparation, so you felt like you were in good hands – and also he’s fun.

    So I guess we're gonna have to wait and see what she has to say about it this season.

    She says sex scenes, but not nude scenes. If she never did nude scenes in "Secret Diary" (a show about a prostitute with a lot of nudity), then why would she do them now? She's neither admitting or denying in that statement - nicely worded to suggest, but not admit. Sex scenes can show no nudity by carefully editing and "strategic" placement of bed linens - she may have been nude under the covers, but none of it made it to film.

    I believe she started doing nude scenes in Secret Diary for the first couple of seasons, but switched to a BD after having a kid before the end of the show. No idea about Penny.. I watched a few episodes but didn't get into it enough to finish the season.

    "Everyone" may know that she did, but everything I've heard or read has said that she used body doubles. I've seen every episode of that show, and can't remember once ever seeing her face and chest in the same frame.

    There are scenes of her face and tits in the same frame in the first season. Possibly the second season, too. After it moved to Showtime or whatever and she stopped getting naked I stopped caring about the show.

    I have to admit that I only saw "Secret Diary" on Showtime, and the episodes I saw were obviously a body double. I'll have to try to find the first two seasons.

    She used BD in S2 because she was pregnant at the time... and it is possible she used BD in S4 because she was pregnant once again. In S1 she did her own nudity and I'm not sure about S3...
