    The interesting thing is, my current Harley is my first Harley.......back in the sixties and seventies, I 1) could not afford one, and 2) around here, only cops and scum-buckets rode them. :dunno: (plus they were really shitty machines back then.....especially when AMC owned them. The HD management team and employees saved the American Motorcycle when they bought AMC out and began a quality control development team.

    The way I see it, his provider is shit with a pieced together chunk of shit system. Peak usage causes his connection to crash.

    That is a possibility, but I'm the only guy in the complex with this problem (same time each business day). So it has to be a person stealing signal at my end, or a cable running through my wall and ceiling and underground to the junction box on my property, or a problem with the AT&T hookup in Ohio that only occurs at the same time every day (they rent lines from AT&T for Internet).

    Everything is fixed. It all runs to three satellite dishes on the roof of a building on the apartment property, which grab the signal from the Ohio facility.

    From my specific apartment, the line runs from the modem to a splitter for the TV, then goes to a wall outlet (changed by the cable guy today), then goes through the walls to outside via a cable to an indoor junction box for my building, then to the main junction box for all buildings, then to the satellite dishes on the roof, then to Ohio, where all the links are then conjugated.
