The woman sitting next to me smells strongly of alcohol. Lordy, I'm gonna catch a buzz merely through proximity alone.

True beauty and your perception of it is a visceral thing Jack. Don't overthink it, let it move you as it will.
    I hope not.

    Scribbles

You might some rain later tonight or tomorrow morning - not a huge downpour, scattered showers and such. Rained on and off here today.

im not sure how to answer this question.
i mean there was once a time i thought humans were a disgusting bunch, always stuffing food in there mouths, never wondering were it even came from, always trying to achieve something called success but never taking the time to recognize where they even were. i was sick watching them eat, snorting there food, breathing like beached whales, i hated all of them. and i was one of them.

then, at some point something strange and odd happened, i think it was when i was sitting watching a girl. i was watching her eyes as she talked to me. her hair, her lips. her jaw move as she went on and was captivated by how amazing it was. how truly complicated. it amazed me. she was beautiful to me. oddly she wasn't anything stunning to look at, sort of dirty blond scraggly hair, her teeth were to small and she was part Asian so her eyes were like oddly Asian. but i thought she was just stunning and for no reason. i mean i had known her for years.

now that was something ive tried to find over and over. i found it in Alaska looking out from the top of mount baldy, ive found it in north Carolina laying in a bed while the water slapped the shore under me, i found it in the house i live now, just standing and watching the creek.

but you know when i found it the most ive ever found it jack
when i saw his tiny little eyes open.
    yea, that was perfect.
so. all ill tell you about it is you just explained your not in a good place in your head, in your life, in your soul. you need to find something that is beautiful jack, you need ot find it and stare at it and feel that feeling. and when you do shit will change forever.

    ive found that wine helps
but not a lot. just a glass. a nice warm feeling. then sit back, and look for it.
youll find it. if you look and open up.
and then it will destroy your life jack, becouse thats what always happens the first few times until you learn how to handle it.

i know it sounds bad, but its not, its just part of the educational process. some of us here have felt it tear them apart far more than i ever have. but even they still manage to stop and find beauty.

    so thoughts?

this is posted unread, just becouse i enjoyed thinking of it and letting my mind ramble. i love this thread

We don't get your weather. We might get Modesto's weather occasionally, but not Frisco's. Most of the moisture in the air gets sucked out by the Sierra. ;)

Again that wasn't really my personal beliefs, just be trying to question the basic norms and perceptions of humans.....I do that I lot. :p

Thanks for your input though. :)

For what gain? A caustic perspective? Ugh.
We get them anyway as a matter of course, the just don't realease precipitation.

For the gain of the perspective, yes....I find that negative perspectives are very intriguing...mostly because most people repulse to think of them, and I feel like it gives you a rounded view of things... acknowledging both the positive and the negative side of things..........plus I don't really let these ideas affect my general thinking.

    :31:

Allow me to simplify - and this is just my opinion of course.

    THAT... is beautiful. :yup:

And no, it's more than just it being a nude woman (tho that helps)... it's the pose, the way the photograph is taken, how the sunlight luminates the skin tone, wonderful color tones of sky and sand.

If you're trying to "examine & analyze" what is beautiful in life, then you're probably going to miss the simple beauty of life itself. I think Bruce said something wise along those lines. ;)
