    I don't think that's fair to say. Slogans by design are meant to be succinct, catchy and memorable. People a mere 2 generations back couldn't concieve of the shear volume of information that blows our way on a daily basis today. I know, because I was alive then. Each generation works with what it has to work with. 10 year olds today are far more savvy about the world around us than I was at that age. Doesn't mean they understand it any better than I might've, they're just privy to alot more input. If I had been thrust 40 years into the future when I was 10 it's safe to say I would've been overwhelmed by what I encountered in today's world.
