  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    That's a bit of an oxymoron, isn't it?

    If you were so kind as to click on the 'Rules/FAQ' at the top of the forum, you might notice that Rule #1 is 'No Reposts'. It's considered polite to go through the six pages of Sophie Howard threads that people have taken the effort to post before, so that you don't piss all over their efforts by saying something like:

    So sorry if you can't read what Cayne types and blindly run and post what you want, so you get kudos for what's been done before.

    I did go through all the posts, and i did go through the rules of this forum. but since they aren't all reposts, i think that 4 other people that posted before you haven't seen these pictures and liked it. if it's a complete repost then you'r prolly right in this, but it isn't. so if someone posts a "non-complete" set, then no-one can post the complete set anymore? (just as an example)

    and i'm not getting any "kudos" for what i do. I'm just sharing pictures and hope people will like them, it's not like i'm getting money out of it, but u make it sound like it is.

    Kudos isn't a monetary thing. By posting stuff, you get a certain reputation on the forum. The mods in here are constantly posting new, HQ celeb stuff, whilst you know that when you click a CaptainFuckAHoe thread (for example), it's going to be screaming quality.

    I've always thought of reposting stuff as standing on the shoulders of those who went before you. If the other commentators in this thread liked your pics, then good for them, but there's no need to show them what's already there to be seen. You make them look, they think 'I like Sophie, she's cute', and they do a search for the existing stuff. At least, that's my interpretation of the rules, and explains why we archive old threads on here.

    As for posting full sets... If somebody posts 5 pics and a zip, then somebody else displays the full set for everyone who hasn't got a RS premium account, then good stuff. However, you tried to defend yourself earlier by saying that you hadn't posted all of the stuff linus did - less of the same. I don't see how that's an argument. Sorry.

    And I'm not being arsey for the sake of it - it's just that I like this forum, and I like the quality of the original posts, so I don't like the thought of either ignoring them, or graverobbing (but I'm not accusing you of robbing linus' stuff).
