Voted. I went for 1 because I thought it showed the car off a bit better, plus I like the lighting at the front. Both nice sigs though.

 

The colour, composition and effects on one got my vote. But if two had the car in the middle and used the badge better i would have voted for that. The car in two is cooler and is a much better image but the composition is what loses out for me.

Both great work though.

 

No.1 has great flow to it.
It looks solid and love the colours.

No.2 is nice, but looks as though the car is floating. Nice ass to it though!

Nice work to both, but it's no.1 for me.

 

Voted for #1. The effects on the left side and the flow from blue to red are very well done.

 

I voted for the first one, the 2nd just felt bland to me.

 

Voted for the second one. Simply liked it better, it was a quick decision.

 

Voted for number 1. Love the look of the car seemingly streaking down the road. Lighting and colors work perfectly.

 

Voted,both are class pics but i went for number 1 in the end.

 

#1 good use of motion and color, over use of effects. Easily viewed logo, right where expected. Theme was CARS, not effects. You took my attention away from the subject matter and focused it almost everywhere else. From the transparent boxes in the top left, to the ground reflections in the paint, I found lots of neat effects, but your supposed focus was mainly irrelevant.

#2 good quality focus on the theme, lesser choice of angles on main subject matter. If this was Average use of the logo. Your background behind the logo is messy and detracts from the logo, but not to an unacceptable extent. Background is busy. If you want to keep the background value at this level, use a darker drop shadow in your logo to make it stand out.

If the theme was effects, motion, color or lighting, it's #1 easily. Since it was "cars", you lost the vote because I didnt care if your piece had a car, I was too busy looking at the rest of the cool stuff to bother to find it.

#2, you kept the focus. You just need to refine your techniques and practice lighting/light sources.

 

1 looks good to me.

 

1. catching lights and colours, good composition, that vertical line in the middle doesn't look good.
2. interesting angle, nice and clear pic of the car, i don't like the background

both good cars, both good sigs - i forget which one i voted for!

 

I voted for #1.............#2............just a didn't like the angle and choice of pics in # 2.........its all about layers.........and layer masks.........can see the nissan layer where it overlaps the other....in that one.....
