Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    hello,

    I would like to link a picture in (from Dreamuploader or ImageVenue) but I want to change the resolution in which it's show. I konw I could just resize it on my PC and reupload it, but I'm particular about a certain pic.

    It's posible to do in HTML, could I accomplish this in the forum? Any suggestion/help??

    your truely :) D&B Music

    so you want to have a bigger thumbnail as imagevenue provides, but not a complete hotlink like dreamuploader provides? and this thumb should link to the original-sized pic?

    hm.try a "mix".

    - upload your original pic on imagevenue.

    [IMG]

    PHP:
     [URL=http://img17.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=90900_00a_123_900lo.jpg][IMG]http://img17.imagevenue.com/loc900/th_90900_00a_123_900lo.jpg[/IMG][/URL]
    - make a resized copy of your pic and host it on dreamuploader.

    [IMG]

    PHP:
    [url="http://www.dreamuploader.com/"][img]http://www.dreamuploader.com/uploads/2008071249936369.jpg[/img][/url]
    now "mix" it:

    [IMG]

    PHP:
    [url="http://img17.imagevenue.com/img.php?image=90900_00a_123_900lo.jpg"][img]http://www.dreamuploader.com/uploads/2008071249936369.jpg[/img][/url]

    but maybe i got you wrong... ;)

    on imagevenue you can reduce the pic.

    just put the desired size in the box underneath

    Thanks for the reply, but thats not what I meant. I mean:

    Is it possible to resize a pic that I link to, the way it is possible in HTML.
    Code:
    <img border="0" src="http://www.some-adress.com/justapic.jpg" width="113" height="63"/>
    Can you do something like that in the forum??

    EDIT (in responds to the answer below = don't want to answer with a new post and bump the thread):
    I was looking for a bbc code to resize the pics, but nothing tragic that it's not possiple, tho it would have been nice.
    River thanks for your lenghty answers!!!!
