r/share files deleted/forbidden to be shared

please, no "RAPIDSHARE SUCKS YEAH!!!!"

Everyone knows who doesnt like r/share and i would like a serious answer not loads of spam.

doesn anyone know why this is. today a few very good porn vods were deleted and if the url is posted in places like this why would anyone want them deleted? who does it?

 

I saw a post of a pornstar dressed like a school girl that got deleted (forbidden to be shared)...My guess is that some uptight SOB thought it was underage or inappropriate because she was dressed like a school girl...

Rapidshare doesn't check to make sure the complaints they receive are legit, they just delete what is complained about.

My guess is that some of the sites that some of these videos originally came from are looking into deleting them.
The problem is that the files names need to be changed from when they are downloaded, many files I download have the original names, so it is very easy to trace!
Take a file name and google it, you'd be suprised to find many sites posting them exactly how they were downloaded.

 

Yeah im thinking the title name might be a give away?? dunno really? does anyone know why i have a really slow upload speed? i mean my internet speed is'nt the fastest in general but im at like 27kbps wtf lol?

 

various reasons.
a) site-owners may check and try to protect their content.
b) hunt for rs-prem-points. it´s easy to download stuff and report the links to rs afterwards, then uploading the stuff and posting it. cheating exclusiveness...
c) "revenge". happens, especially some special-colored people here are affected.

 

i think rapid share has a similar policy to a popular auction site with a colourful logo. they rely on customers to report content.

 

You can take a few steps that can "help", but may not avoid it entirely

1. Password your files......it sometimes helps keep the honest people honest.

2. Definately change the names of the files....make it something completely unique.

3. Change the file size.....If a set of pics for example is normally 15 Mb....remove a few then zip them up.....or split the original file in half and make two zips, etc... Makes it a little less attractive to just cut and paste your files onto another board.

4. Do a keyword search for the file name in google......you would be surprise what you will find. I've done this and seen my RS files uploaded onto different boards by members here.......and they actualy use the same name on other boards.

 

if you want to expose link-"stealers" (spreading links might help with collecting points, but it is falsly taking credits) add a text-file to the zip.
something like "uploaded by Jammsbro @ phun".

 

What about cookies?
When clicking on the link that are placed on phun, they may seen it in their logs from which site you had come, anyone knows about it??

Placing the link in code tags (# button) should help then, like this, non clickable.

this is extremely interesting to me. i've seen people on this site posting videos with Karmalizma's password that weren't Karmalizma and it got me wondering. From now on i'll change all my file names and i think i'll put a password on them if that helps.

 

When protecting the files with a pw, hide the file(s) (names) too inside the rar (with using the option for it, see below), so that they can't be seen by people that have not the pw. You can give the rar file an other name (very short), while having files inside it with other or original names).

Use this option:
(using winrar)
Select file, right click mouse "add to archive...". On the pasw options window, select the "encrypt file names" too. (The "show pasw" option leave blank always).
