Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

those are split-archives. most file-hosts do have size-limits (rapidshare, for example, 100MB)

    check the file-formats (endings)

    xxx.001, xxx.002, xxx.003 ... = join with HJsplit

    xxx.part1.rar, xxx.part2.rar, .... = unrar with winrar

in each case you need all parts.

start HJSplit, "join" , browse for "xxx.001", the rest is up to hjsplit, as long as you have all parts in the same folder.

i don´t see the need to keep the files two times...
all splits which belong together in one folder. all needed informations (number of parts etc.) are stored in part one (.001), but hjsplit can´t collect files from various folders.

    With Hjsplit splitted files:

After joining (completing the files to one file) you can delete the other files, it will take only space on your hdisk.

And for Rar or zip files, after extracting/unzipping/unrarring (completing) then you can delete the packed (rars or zips).

Winrar will only work for its own files/extension, the files that have in end of the file name ".RAR" or ".ZIP".
You cannot use WINRAR to put files together that ends with *.001, *.002. Thouse are splitted by Hjsplit.

Click on the first file. Winrar automatically find the other parts (if they have exactly the same name and are in same folder).
Winrar window with the files (list) will open.
Select one of the file (if there are more files in the rar/zip file).
You can enter. "THIS IS A TEMPORARY LOOK" (or see below for keeping a completed file).

Do this to put the files together (after that you can manually delete the seperate parts/files):
-Click in the menu the button extract to (or right click: extract to the specified folder). Choose the place you want on your hdisk to save.

Also before you opened the rar/zip (window), you can do the same, right click your mouse on the rar or zip file: for saving in a other folder/map "Extract files.." (will open a new window) or same as were the rar file is:"Extract here".
