  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

It seems that more and more old threads are being dug up by people, either for a one line reply or asking why the pic/zip isn't showing/working anymore. Would there be any way where threads can be automatically locked once they've been inactive for a month or something like that? Should it be possible, it would make things easier, because a lot of people don't take the time to read the rules.

I mentioned this before, there is software that can be added to vBulletin that allows you to auto lock threads after a certain number of days.

Also, another alternative is software that keeps threads in the order they are posted. People may reply all they wish, but nothing gets bumped. Stickies still allowed.

  4. It clearly says in the rules don't pull up files that are more than 2 weeks old unless you have content to add. Now replies like hot, cool, repost links are not valid. I usually lock them up, unless it's one member who is pulling up alot of old posts. Then I will ban for a few days. Either way report on the sig issue thread and it will be taken care of.
