Model vs Celeb confusion

There is some confussion about posting in model or celeb section, and I'd like to post my opinion:

a) Celeb is an erotic model or porn actress:

- If dressed, (as Aria Giovanni at any social, public event), then she should be in Celeb section.
- If nude, (in any photoshoot), then that nudism is her job. Nudism is usual, and she should be in Model Section.

b) Celeb not is an erotic model or porn actress (actress, TV host, singer, ...): Always in celeb section. In addition, nudism is rare. Exception: Porn "amateur" videos (Pamela Anderson, Keeley Hazell), because it's porn.

Some valid points, and certainly ones we'll take into account when we get round to discussing the issue. I agree completely re the red carpet/shoot point you make and we've tried to follow that over the years.

 

Re OP.

The way I see it is simple. If someone is well known within or without their area of speciality then they are a celeb. There are models that are celebs, actors that are models, models that are singers and visa versa.

A celeb is a celeb. Some UK singer may be unknown in the US but she is a celeb. Clear naming of thread titles and any info about the shoot should be included. I have started searching the whole forum for people like sophie howard rather than just the model or celeb section.

That way I have avoided numerous reposts and if we all did the same then there wouldn't be a problem. I still, however, believe that there should be a glamour models thread . Only today a guy has posted one scanned advert from nuts and made a thread from it. Messy messy messy

And there is still no official decision on. As far as i go if a girls pimary work/reason for being famous is that she models for a living she should go in models. Even if she is super famous like giselle or the like. If people want to see models then it would encourage other users who tend not to go into models as much to frequent their more.

I think its simple. Like the celebrity gifs thread, if people want to find models, they will. They'd be under the super secret code of Models Forum.

 

I agree with Jamms on this one , but perhaps an overhaul needs to happen to a few thread titles , Models right now are currently Met -Art , Nikki , Chica ect ... perhaps revising that thread section to read something along the lines of "Phun Models" would be appropriate and a new \ revised "Professional Models" section for the Giselle's , Klum's ect...
And this is in no way a slight to others by saying "Professionals" , just to end that little rift before hand .

a model, even very famous ones are still models.
pg3 glamour models are not celebs, even though the is one in the celeb BB house at the min (lucy pinder), it doesn't make her a celeb.

Well this is where I disagree. The model forum is full of open legs and hardcore stuff. What internet models do. I still believe the models mentioned above would be lost in there as many people, who celeb watch, probably never even make it into the model section.

 

to be honest, i'm not fussed any more. i've started visiting all sub forums now so put 'em where you like.

 

Where's the Thread Starter definition of Model Section ?
