    The star of such films as "Mean Girls" and "Herbie: Fully Loaded" also was involved in a May 31 traffic accident when she tried to evade a photographer who collided with her.

    The photographer was arrested for investigation of assault with a deadly weapon after police said he deliberately crashed his car into Lohan's.

    That crash was credited with prompting passage of a measure Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger signed into law on Friday calling for steep financial penalties for paparazzi who commit assaults in their efforts to obtain celebrity photos.

    The new law allows victims of paparazzi assaults to file lawsuits seeking up to three times the damages they suffered. The law goes into effect Jan. 1.

    lol Nice. Looks like she needs a bumper car to ride around in. I think in the earlier crash she could have blamed passing out (from lack of eating) for the accident.

    Appears to be the same kind of car also. Wonder if it was the exact same one though.

    it's the exact same car she had the last accident in.
    check it out: it has the same v12 logo on the side of the front driver fender in both accidents. it's not like she has a 100 of these fuckers.

    I just don't get it man; is there really enough of a demand for picture of her shopping for clothes that we need that many photogs hanging out around her? If there is, then people need to get a grip and start caring about more important things.

    Plus, why do they need to surround the car? With all the camera shit they must have, they could get an upclose shot of the inside of her nostril from 50feet away...you just know they're trying to fluster and antagonize to see if they get a response.
