2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

Ok i have run into a problem, i have a kodak easyshare program for my digital camera that was at the time my default image viewer (i prefered the windows one but anyway keeping on track here) my AVG detected a virus within the easyshare program and i moved it to the virus 'vault' no problem i switched back to the windows viewer for now which i prefer..but now when i host a pic that is large and i intend on it being viewd as large i can only see it not much bigger than a thumbnail..not sure why this is or how i can fix it..im a bit of a dummy when it comes to computer problems.. so can anyone shed any light on how to fix my problem??

..here is an example, i used imagesocket for this random image (which is quite large normally) and selected resize to 1024px (large) (ive never had a problem doing this before now)

but i only see it not much bigger in size than a thumbnail..

not a problem on your side. just a change of hotlinking-policy by imagesocket.

thumb:
[IMG]
PHP:

hotlinked:
[IMG]
PHP:

-> http://forum.phun.org/showpost.php?p=1475793&postcount=12

or: take the link to the pic (http://imagesocket.com/view/morninglightce4.jpg), add content. after http:// and replace view with images.
