  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    may be a little large, according to the rules the size should be 450 by 150 but it may be at the discretion of the moderators.

    It still takes 45 -60 sec. to load,1,4 MB is to big i think.

    As for the topic, yeah i was curious about the max file size for an animated gif in your sig, i had a look around, for example "EDWRX" sig is 2,5 mb big...

    I'll stick to roughly under 1 mb, if that's ok...?

    Thanks, I'll leave my avatar just as it is and glad ya like it (found it on some free site, thought it fit well). I may just go with the sig I made in photoshop (my first). It may be simple, but I like it.

    At the moment we have no rule about a max. filesize for sigs,only for the dimensions.(450x150 +-)
    But i think there should be one,i will discuss this with my colleagues.
