  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    not sure - looks like more or less all imagehoster do have issues with their java/flash - based upload-sites... new version released, maybe?

    Probably new content filters going into effect. It's about time for another round of riaa/mpaa antipiracy crap to rain down. We'll see how fast things disappear in the next week or 2. Since I've been out of work I havent been keeping abreast of what the webmasters are being hit with. Sorry. Nothing new on the fcc's site for admins tho.

    Hi everyone.

    I'm in the UK, and I spoke to the tech people at my ISP, TalkTalk, and they said that imagebam is now being blocked by the Internet Watch Foundation in the UK for hosting, 'illegal content.'

    I can still access imagebam if I use Turbo in Opera or via a proxy, it's not an ideal situation though. :(

    I don't think this concerns users outside the UK.
