  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

A couple weeks ago, I was going to post for the first time some scenes in the video forum. I had the post typed up and the rs links in place but I ran into a big problem: no matter what I did, I couldn't upload any images for the scenes. I tried three or four different of the approved image hosts and directly from my HD to no avail. I kept getting a couple different error messages. I have forgotten their exact wording.

I would like to try again today and will follow the 'sticky' tutorial on how to post images so I get it right. However, I'm having another problem now. I was just trying a test run and when I open the 'Manage Attachments' box I'm told that "You have uploaded the maximum of 5 files" and there is no box for a URL or from my HD. How do I get rid of this?

For the record, I'm not overly knowledgeable on these sorts of things at all. But I have posted movies/scenes at four or five forums like phun so I'm not a complete idiot...just a partial one. Please help and thank you in advance.

Do not use the attachments box.

Copy and paste the coding directly into the "post new thread" box. If you foolow the tutorial exactly you shouldn't have issues.
