  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

I tried to upload my first picture.

    I click "manage attachments" and window pops up saying "you have uploaded the maximum of 5 files"

    What am I doing wrong? How do I post a picture?

    Even though I used imagebam as the filehost, I'm getting the same "you have uploaded the maximum of 5 files" message that cathoderay got.

    I reduced the image size to 11K (from 17K) and it posted on the thread, but I still get that message.

    Here's probably the easiest way to start with

    - save your pics to a folder on your desk top
    - open approved image host as Inuk said above , i use imagebam alot
    - click browse and select images in each section from the folder you saved them in.
    - Once you've selected all your pics , select image type , ie adult content or family safe
    - Set thumbnail form to 180 x 180
    - Click upload
    - Once they've all loaded , right click on center box at top of the page
    - Right click , copy
    - Go to phun , start your post and right click paste.

    Remember ....
    Make sure to read the rules prior to posting and have Phun

    If you use Imagebam then best set Thumbnail form: to "scaled to 180 x 180" because the others are cropped and best view is not cropped, but thats just my oppinion.

    I use UpMyPhoto and I've posted several sets now, but every time it says a mod must approve my posts. Does that happen every time I post pics, because what if I post something, that doesn't show up yet, and then someone else posts the same thing? Then you get dupes you didn't even know about.

    I don't want to create threads of pics until I know they will show up on the boards. Please help me with this?
