  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    I've just come on-line and went to the model forum, where I noticed that all the posts that were highlighted (ie that had received a post since I was last on-line) had the words "Go to first new post" inserted before the titles!

    I clicked on one of these messages, and ended up in one of the posts, and when I backed out of it, all the "Go to the first new post" messages had gone!

    Is this a new feature, or a glitch?

    a glitch of a feature...

    usually there´s this little icon [​IMG] in front of all threads that have new posts after your last visit. sometimes this (and other graphics) are slow-loading - and the "alt"-text appears instead.

    One learns something new every day, River! I thought that little icon was purely decorative - not actually functional! I now realise it's quite a useful function, especially with big threads!

    I've now got a persistent "Go to last post" message against each thread in the Last Post column - I'm sure it hasn't always been there - or is it just me?
