  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

This is the basic message of most religions, you are responsible not only for you both also to your fellow man. What you do has an effect on others. If each of us act better, things will get better. This is just my opinion and as you say, I can be wrong also.

We aren't individuals. We are products. I wouldn't blame a person for his or her behavior anymore than I would blame a bullet for exiting a gun once the trigger has been pulled. Our perception of reality through 40 millisecond bursts has left the impression that we possess some free-will. We don't. We are the end result of a 14 billion year old chemical reaction. But even within the scope of our individual lives, we aren't individuals. We are a concoction of our experiences, and our genetic predispositions. So this claim that we should have some sense of responsibility is amusing. If anything, the community as a whole should be held responsible for the behaviors of the individual and not the individual for the community -- since the individual is a product of the community. An apathetic, competitive, brutal world will breed a population that feels disenfranchised, ignored, exploited, and vulnerable this should be expected. Take these people and poke them with a searing iron and they will snap.

Slapping them on the wrist and telling them to behave won't change anything, lecturing them about responsibility won't change anything, locking them up in a cage won't change anything. The only thing that will cause a lasting, enduring effect, is to the change the very circumstances which bred the behavior in the first place. But then that's why they're out protesting, isn't it?
