  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Ha... sorry to hear about your troubles with Sharingmatrix - I just found their "download limit reached" message a bit funny.

    Basically, they're saying "we're sorry you reached your 10GB daily download limit that we didn't tell you about when you bought your premium account... but hey, you can still wait 10 minutes per file download like a normal free user. Thanks for being a sucker tho." :rofl:

    But you know, Rapidshare's doing it and now Sharingmatrix is doing it so it might be a sign of the times that filesharing services are putting download limits, even to paying members. Still, it is quite shady that they didn't let you know about it. :nono:

    note too that this limit effectively screws over the uploaders too because their files won't be downloaded as much.

    That may explain why a good number of the recent spammers have been posting more on Hotfile now.
