    Nice Super Yacht.

If it could submerse and fly I'd get one, but since it doesn't I'll just keep my piggy bank intact. :)

i can do both, at 50knot hit the right wave and fly........... and then submerse. see.
extended usability may be slightly compromised however.

Honestly anything over 25 feet is a waste, just a hole in the water to pour money into.

My Pops had a 58 ft Matthews, two Cummins diesels. thing kicked ass, but all it did was feed on money. The two best days where the day he bought it and the day he sold it.

Now the 25 footer still kicks ass, and is reasonable to maintain, use and store.

Gas is fucking ridiculous, but at least I'm not filling a 1,000 gallon tank.

Reality is expensive, but dreams are free :)

i think you got all the good quotes here,
    thanks dood
reality is if i could afford this thing, gas and maintenance would be no issue, if it is, i cant afford this thing.
and its just a gorgeous ship, ive been a fan of yachts for about 15 years and never seen anything this clean and sharp. just love the thing.

by the way, my real desire is a chris craft commander. i dont know why this ship intrigues me so, but....

That looks about right. We used to take it up and down the east coast, through the intercoastal waterway. Between North Palm Beach and Skipjack Cove on the Chesapeake.

As much fun as the seas are, I prefer to fly.

you are very lucky to get to have done that. i have always dreamed of it, i hung out on the outer banks and just scowled as the ships passed by.
I have many friends that have planes and pilots license, but have yet to fly i anything so small. I have been in a couple helicopters, they are fucking awesome. but... they dont float either.

My goal is to have something i can spend a week or two in floating around the great lakes and not have to find a port whenever a storm comes in, 40+ feet. I know someone that sailed the inter-coastal of Alaska with a 35' hand made single engine, and he said that some days were very hard work and down right scary if the winds kicked up.

Helicopters are fun, but if the rotors stop, you drop. At least with a single engine Cessna, I can glide 7 miles in any direction for every mile up I am.

I really want to visit Minneapolis and the lakes up there. I think a center console twin outboard would do me just fine. Fish, crab, tan and drink a few beers.

The intercoastal on the east coast is easy cruising.

Keep the goal in mind, if you can visualize it, you can make it happen.
