  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hello. I've seen you have not included in the new list of allowed imageshost Imageshadow.com.

    Imageshadow.com doesn't have virus/adwares/spywares/popups and has unlimited bandwidth and unlimited hosting period.

    Imageshadow.com covers all the conditions to be included in the list.

    we are currently not adding any new hosts to the list. Reliability, speed, and many other things are also involved in the selection process. We will open up a submission for new imagehost when we feel there is a need to add to the list.

    What is, exactly, the problem you have found for not choosing Imageshadow.com?

    it´s basically about the experience we have made here.
    reliability, quality of thumbs, convenience of uploading. and not to forget the many bad experiences we had with many, many other imagehosts.

    as for now this explanation must suffice.

    of course this list is not carved in marmor for the next 100 years. some of the allowed hosts might change behavior, some new ones may be much better.

    Look Fran this is not something against your prefered imagehost, but we have to draw the line somewhere. And currently your imagehost doesn't have the track record like all the others already on the approved list.

    We will take it into consideration once we open it up to allow more imagehosts onto the board. For now the answer is finalized.

    I have been looking at the Rankings of the all the imagehost of the new list and I have discovered that imagehost-4u.com and imagetitan.com have the same Ranking and number of visits as Imageshadow.

    And rehostit.com has less visits than Imageshadow.

    How many users of Phun forum use these hostings?

    Imageshadow is used in Phun forum and has better Record track (in Phun forum) than imagehost-4u.com , imagetitan.com or rehostit.com!

    My megaposts has gone around the world and in 7 posts I have managed more de 300 congratulations in Phun forum.
    I think I deserve a place in Phun forum.

    No-one says you don't have a place at phun. But shouldn't the value of phun be more important than what host you use? I can't see why this is such a big problem. One day we might be open to new additions, but we've settled on a list and for the moment, that decision is final. We don't want to lose any members, it'd be quite sad if they were here purely for their host and not for the phun itself.
