  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    You actually need an application called WinRar. It's a compression tool similar to Winzip.

    Have a look on download.com. There is a free version on there.

    Once you have it installed simply extract the files you need, as you would with WinZip.

    Download freeware Zwei-Stein Converter from http://download.tucows.com/perl/window95.html?dltarget=download&Target=/adnload/195042_75160.html

    Next, download and install free 3gp codecs intended for converting files: (Quicktime Alternative) http://www.free-codecs.com/download/QuickTime_Alternative.htm

    1) Launch Zwei-Stein (Click Start -> Programs -> Thugs at Bay...)
    2) Press File -> Import -> Import Video Clip
    3) Select type of files - "All files (*.*)"
    4) Open your .3gp video clip.
    5) Press File -> Export -> Video for Windows (AVI)
    6) Enter filename.
    7) Choose video codec. DivX, XviD or WMV9 are recommended.
    8) Click OK! That's all.
