  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hey, hate to sound like a bitch, but since this new change has been made, can we get it off on the right foot by setting some ground rules for posting celeb vids in the celeb forum? How about if everyone posts at least on screen cap, file type, upload host, vid runtime, and size of file. This is all usful info for most of us. I see people just throwin links into posts with nothing else and it is a mess. IF i am being obsessive compulsive about this, i am sorry.

    what new rules is this? What kieks did was just ask for some opinions. We as the mod team have not finalized anything yet since we still have a few other ideas on the plate.

    i believe thatthread was just a poll to ask for opinions. It wasn't set because of that thread to my knowledge. We still haven't discussed the possibility of making asubforum for the vids and gifs. Since that hasn't been decided upon yet the celeb forum should remain the way it has been running until the rules are ironed out.

    Yeah, sorry guys. The poll is closed but I haven't had time to lay the complete ground-rules. I'll do this on the weekend but am gonna discuss it with the other mods first.
