  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    Hi I use bulkimagedownloader to download images of the forum, but I find it doesn't work a lot of the time. A lot of people post imagehaven links, and sometimes it downloads them but other times it gives an error so I have to do it manually. Does anyone know of a better tool to get the pictures?

    I use BID all over the place, and whilst I occasionally come across a site where downloading is a problem (I let antibody-software know in those circumstances) I don't recollect ever having any problems on phun - probably because of the policy of only allowing approved imagehosts. If it works sometimes, but not others, I suspect something else may be the culprit, and if it's always ImageHaven that gives the problem, have a word with JayHoo who apparently runs it.
