Wait a minute...She brings in lawyers to remove 'fake' images that don't show her face that make 100% identification impossible after a few hours, yet she's okay with the wealth of actual fakes images with cum all over her face, dicks up her ass, being blowbanged by a a basketball team etcetera that have been online for years? Personally, I totally believe it's not her now, good work high paid lawyers in stopping this filth :tongue:

Regardless of whether she wants them removed (impossible) or she just wants people to disassociate her name form the images (impossible), the effect is the same. These would have just been written off as being speculative and open to (mis)interpretation, she should have thought about the Streisand Effect before going the typical Hollyweird route of jumping on the phone to a lawyer. She took the images so as they wouldn't identify her, then she goes and throws her rules in the trashcan.

However, it couldn't possibly be the seeking of a little publicity for an artist irrelevant for a decade after her comeback single flopped and a second single on the way? :scratchchin:

 

could be either way however jlaw and VJ are trying to get the images removed while she is just trying to stop people saying they are her

two very different things , if they were images of her and she had a chance to get them mostly scrubbed id think she would try but time will tell

You've hit the nail on the head there. I'm sure there are plenty of celebs who are looking at all this massive, free publicity and saying, "How can I get in on it?" This whole "I'm calling in the FBI because someone is saying that I'm connected to this huge story but they're all fakes, yes, they're fakes so nobody can think bad things about me but this now makes me intimately involved with this huge story so make sure you don't write about it without including me but make sure you spell my name right and mention my upcoming record, OK?" sounds very much like something hatched in a publicist's office.

I doubt any celebrities are doing that. I would say embarrassment and anger at having her privacy violated and a desire to convince others that it is not her are her motivations.

clearly, this whole fappening report thing on twit was just a big wind up...... nothing posted since it hinted at having new stuff out 18hrs ago (as of this post), so reckon anyone who was planning their weekend around this link was fooled.

This fappening report stuff on twitter is crazy. So far nothing has happened today. Haven't seen any Avril Lavigne or Kaley Cuoco nude pics at all. I can't really believe anything this fappening report guy is talking about until something actually happens!

that twitter account is either a complete troll job and some person's idea of a joke or, the conspiracy theorist in me, believes a possible setup by a government agency.

I find it strange that twitter announced it was blocking/banning any twitter accounts posting photos from the hack job and yet this one, with over 20,000 followers now, basically telling people where to go share them, is still up.

In the meantime, they keep urging people to e-mail them, provide a shady pastebin page and have provided nothing of substance. I truly believe it's very possible they are just baiting people to e-mail them photos they obtained elsewhere and are tracking IP addresses to capture those behind this thing.
