Grimsy says he doesnt have a sig, so now he has a dark, gritty, gothic style.

Ok, for the text I have an idea but Im not at all sure how to go about it.

I want the light to come from behind the text giving an auric glow around it like metallic edge depth with the light curling around the front edges making the letters seem to be sinking into the light like ice sinking into water. That means the center of the letters will have a lighter reflection, then darken around that then start brightening as the light flows up the back. Should be interesting to see how it works out.

Here's the kind of sig I would have done if I'd had time. I actually prefer it to the one I entered.

 

try doing a posterize on the whole thing, (except text and border) I just wanna see how it'd look, please.

 

Not really a fan of posterize, I find it a bit too rough as an effect. This is level 4 and it looked even worse on the lowest setting of 2.

It would be nice if there was an effect that was a cross between posterize and topaz that didn't look crap if overdone. If I use topaz I always use a layer mask because it completely screws up faces at higher levels.

 

Something a bit different and I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. I'm massively into my Delta blues right now.

What were cool flame effects and reflections in the pit in the smaller size just look like a mess. Ah well.
