  2. Our gif only content threads have a rule where all thumbs must be posted as a static thumbnail that does not play. Currently imagebam made a change where they no longer produce static thumbs. Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads. If you see your gif playing once you post, try to use a smaller thumbnail and if that does not work use a different approved host.

    To my fans, friends and other Phunsters,

    All good things come to an end and it's time for me to retire. I won't be creating FakeRays from now on. My time grows short and I must focus on writing instead of imaging work. I especially want to finish up the stories in my farewell thread. This proved to be a more (emotionally) challenging task than expected.

    I hope others will carry on this thread and start creating FakeRays. The video at the link below will help those who are interested. (NOTE: Use full screen view) I've also included a my original FakeRay Tutorial.

    Finally, emerging FakeRay artists can also PM me for advise (upon request). I will still be logging in until physically unable to do so.
