Therefore, please do not use imagebam, or any host, that provides live playing gifs in those specific threads.     Most folks use Adobe Photoshop trig. If you want a basic tutorial post and i'll make one. All of the lads in here are extremely helpful so don't be worried about asking.

    yeah photoshop is most common, and in my personal experience the only software. however you can download GIMP for free and use that. but you can also download photoshop for free, not that i'd condone such actions ;)

    Great stuff - make sure you throw in a tutorial on borders, they're what I always struggle with. I look at some of the ones you guys post and don't have a clue how you've done them. :(
