    made this from video caps cos i love how she looks, couldn't do ANYTHING with them by blending or cutting them out so went for the film reel look. all the image editing took me about an hour (!) before i even started on the text. luckily it came together quite quickly, the coke style font was exactly what i was looking for, even before i knew it myself ;)

    I mean the blue/purple & yellow tint to everything, particularly the dark hair.

    It's an effect I've tried but it only works when you've simplified the image a lot.

    Which you usually do.

    ahh i see what you mean. i used curves to give it the old fashioned polaroid sort of colours, and theres exposure and saturation filters on it too, then there's a picture of a sky (blue and soft white clouds) screened over the top of it all as well

    I would have just screened a purple & orange gradient map overtop of the applied image at about 30-40% opacity! boom done!

    haha, great work as always man. that SG video is really something else!

    i love the trick with the curves, priceless for effects like this! and the cloud picture is another favourite i use a lot, the sky gives a nice blue tint to everything, and the clouds break up the image a bit with nice soft smoky gradients. all it's missing is the out of focus lights/flares ;) i DID try that early on but it wasn't working

    here's the original, it's not too complex; 18 layers including all text, filters, border, gradients
