I bow to you sir... I'm in LOVE with Anna Silk...

 

Again a big post but this time i had to split it in several parts. After the huge success of the first season "Battlestar Galactica" got 20 eps during the 2nd season so there was a lot more "material" to work with.

The first two eps were a direct resume from the end of the 1st season. So there was no really good "female stuff" to work with.
Chaos on Galactica and Kobol and all chars got bloody. That's not really likeable, hm?

Every first, second and third line char had some good or great scenes. Grace Park as Lt. Sharon 'Boomer' Valerii and her Caprica-double and Katee Sackhoff as Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace had both really great and intense scenes on Kobol and during the "Pegasus"-storylines.
Some great scenes were written for the second and third line chars like Luciana Carro as Louanne "Kat" Katraine in eps 08 or Kandyse McClure as Anastasia Dualla in eps 09. Leah Cairns as Lt. Margaret "Racetrack" Edmondson showed us again a great performance as a though Raptor-pilot.

Here's a line from eps 8:
D'anna Biers: Are you afraid when you go into combat?
Racetrack: First thing they tell you is to assume you're already dead.
D'anna Biers: Well, that sounds ghoulish.
Racetrack: Yeah, maybe. But dead men don't get scared and freeze up under fire. Me, I'm just worried that hell's gonna be a lonely place, and I'm gonna fill it up with every Toaster son of a bitch I find.

This season ahd also two great female guest stars. Michelle Forbes as Admiral Helena Cain who had some fantastic scenes with Edward James Olmos as Commander William Adama (The almost duell between the two Battlestars was the most intense moment during this season, imo ) Lucy Lawless as D'Anna Biers aka Cylon Number Three.

As promised here is the 2nd part.

The Eps "Resurrection Ship: Part 2" was as intense as Eps 11 because Starbuck and Fisk are preparing for the murder jobs and when there about to take action both Adama and Cain called them back...
It's a shame that Admiral Cain got so easly assassinated by the imprisoned Number 6. I would've loved to see more of her.

My fav eps of this season was "Scar" because Katee Sackhoff and Luciana Carro did a fantastic job and they had both some great scenes even at the end during "Kat"'s celebration of her victory over Scar.

Katee's dialogue was just great:
Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace: [raising a toast] To Bee-bee. Jo-jo. Riley. Beano. Dipper. Flat Top. Chuckles. Jolly. Crashdown. Shepherd. Dash. Flyboy. Stepchild. Puppet. Fireball.
[pause]
Captain Lee 'Apollo' Adama: To all of 'em.
Commander William Adama: So say we all.
All: [in unison] So say we all.
Lt. Kara 'Starbuck' Thrace: [quietly] So say we all.

Grace Park and Tricia Helfer had also some great scenes together in the eps "Downloaded". This was the first time we saw what happened when the Cylon's get a new body.

In Eps 16 we also saw Kandyse McClure the first in a non-military dress. She looked great and in Eps 17 we got see her the first time naked, well almost naked...

Some great guest stars were in the second half of this season like Erica "Eureka" Cerra or Dana Delany.

....aaaand here is the final 3rd part of Season 2. Well, i added The TV-Movie "Razor" to the 2nd season because the "Admiral Cain"-storyline belongs there, imo.

I've seen now both versions. The 88 Min. long TV-Movie and the 104 min extended DVD edition.

Razor takes place during the first days of Lee Adama's Pegasus command and uses flashbacks to show Rear Admiral Cain's orders during and shortly after the Cylon attack, as well as events occurring on the final day of the first Cylon War. Cain's actions in the wake of the holocaust are connected to the present by Kendra Shaw, self-described as Cain's legacy.

In the DVD edition you can see a battle between the classic Cylon Basestars and two Colonial Battlestars (Columbia and Galactica) at the end of the first Cylon War. The whole battle was great shot and it gave me goosebumps as the Columbia was destroyed and you could hear the screaming of the dying crewmen on young William "Husker" Adama's radio.

So much about cutting, hm? Guess which version is better?

Stephanie Jacobsen did a great job as Cain's heir. She was a great kick-ass bitch up to the end.
I think the same thing could be said about Michelle Forbes as Admiral Helena Cain who was harder than nuclear nails.

I loved Starbuck's expression during a battle between the classic Cylon's and the Pegasus as she was heading with her Viper toward's the Battlestar and Kendra Shaw ordered to change the defense Fire from manuell to automatic Fire. ("The Bitch wants to kill us!")

Tricia Helfer did also a great job as Number Six / Gina Inviere who had also a relationship with Cain and we get to know why and how Admiral Cain showed such hate about her.

The lightning was really bad here and brighting the caps up was no real use. Sorry for that.

Some old and new stuff to begin a new year.

"Burn Notice" with Gabrielle Anwar as Fiona Glenanne is just great. The quality of the caps is not really as good as i hoped but that's because the show is bot really HD, imo. Another thing is the damn logo that was again everywhere. Anyway, i wanted to cap Gabrielle sweaty in her tight shorts and with her big gun and i did it.

Last appearance of Julie McNIven in "Supernatural". She got again, like in SGU, killed and there was no really good scene because it was again very dark in this eps. Maybe the funniest scene was when Dean dreamed his Angel and Devil-Dream (with Daniela Dib) and she appeared between them!

Now to the best part, i think. Summer Glau's appearance on "Chuck". I wonder why no one else capped her? She looked great and she showed us the typical hot Summer-Glau-crazy-chick performance. You know, rolling eyes, playing with her knife and even her scene with Adam Baldwin was great and soooo "Firefly".

Well, lets go...
Bride and Prejudice is some mix-up between a Bollywood-movie (Musical!)and the "Pride & Prejudice"-novel by Jane Austen. Take a look at the Keira Knightley-movie if you would like to see the original. This "version" is also great. There're so many great looking women in it that it's really amazing to watch.
The indian goddess Aishwarya Rai, Namrata Shirodkar and Peeya Rai Chowdhary as her sister and also Indira Varma and "SURPRISE!" Alexis Bledel.

Definitely Maybe is like the "Big-movie-version" of "How i met your Mother". It's also a wonderful movie with a great female cast. Elizabeth Banks scene where she "rejected" the ring was absolutely hilarious. Rachel Weisz was also great and Isla Fisher as the major love interest was incredible cute. A
great movie!

Cobalt99 asked for a wallpaper collage of Dina Meyers char in Star Trek: Nemesis and i thought "Why not?". I also did Marina Sirtis. It's like some kind of therapy after the last Star Trek-movie to take a look back to the "good" old characters.
