    After i saw your vertical sig i really kept meaning to do some different sized sigs. They can't be used but that doesnt mean we can't eplore that arena.

    If you google it you'll find out more but it's basically an effect that makes a photo look like it's almost been hand drawn, most noticeable in Biomoid's sigs. I think the filter was originally designed as something that could remove the imperfections in a persons skin, essentially smoothing it out.

    Just re-did smi's new siggy with the use of some topaz filters. looks totally different......and better.

    anyone got a link to this plugin? everywhere i look for Topaz there's mainly just HDR plugins, and there seems to be about 50 under the name Topaz

    Just a matter of personal taste. I like the details in your first sample more. That filter makes your second version apear more flat and kills some details. I do intend to try it out. I can see where it could be useful at times. Thanks for the link, Toolz.

    Its pretty kickass software thats for damn sure. The second sig I made tonight, the Kristen Bell one, shows off how it can be used at its best......granted I have only used it twice.;) Lukins Aria one is a awesome demonstration of it.
    It has endless potential.
