    Easyest way would offcourse be a transparent background. It'll work on any board then. It's a little harder to make it look right, but a little blurring of the edges helps a lot.

    To comment on your sig: I like it, but I wouldn't have cut off the top of her head :)

    You were on the right track. Make a blank sig 450x150. Mark the entire area with your marquee tool. Use that screen shot you made to select the Phun blue color and fill the blank sig you've created. Save it and use it as a base layer for sigs like Austx is attempting.

    In your colour picker set RGB scale to:

    R=245
    G=245
    B=255.

    You then can click the "swatches" button and save the colour (name it Phunblue).
    Next time you need it you can just click on "swatches" on the left between "colour" and "styles".

    Well, I completely redid this one based on some of the information that I have received from you experts. I also changed it so I was not cutting off any of her head as I had in the first one.

    I played with borders and really do like the effect. I also played with a transparent background and then again using the "Phunblue" advice that TCF gave.

    This one is based on a transparent background at the top portion and I can not figure out why it turned white. Any guesses?
