I guess it depends on how in love or whatever she was with this guy. Everybody handles heartbreak differently. Im sure there's no shortage of people that would give her a roll in the hay. We don't know that she's not already getting it from someone. Doesn't mean the hurt just goes away. She could be fucking half of Hollywood and still be devastated.

 

Well, yes. It can't be easy to find that the person you thought you were going to spend the rest of your life with isn't the person you thought they were. But then again, as has been mentioned frequently, when they met he had a live-in girlfriend so the fact that he'd fuck around on her even though she's Natalie Fucking Portman shouldn't come as too much of a shock.

Therein lies the rub. It's quite common for people to convince themselves that they are the exception. Add the fame, as you mentioned, and I assume the propensity only elevates. There may have also been a part of her that believed that was the very reason that he would fuck around on his ex and leave to be with her. Cuz shes Natalie Portman. Should she have maybe known better? Probably. Does that make what he did ok? Does it make it sting less? Does it make her heart feel less shattered? Does it make the disappointment less intense? I'd argue no on all accounts.

It may sound like a great idea to get some sex immediately, especially if it was with you, but I don't agree. In my opinion, the best thing would be to take some alone time and heal before getting tangled up in anything else. It's too easy to catch feelings that may not be real when you're coming off a heartbreak. That's how people end up bringing baggage along into the next relationship and making it toxic. Someone else shouldn't have to suffer or pay for the wrongs of a previous partner. Figure your own shit out first. Just my opinion.
