    I don't understand why a 9 like Erin would feel the need to get her lips and tits done. She's still pretty but IMO she's lost something because of the plastic "enhancements".

    My least favorite part of celebrities. The rampent constant self body image issues. Some of the most gorgeous sexy people look in the mirror and think that fake lips and boobs somehow looks better then their natural beauty.

    In erins case i find it even more ironic since her whole storyline in the boys was pointing out how she just wanted to be a normal natural person without all the marketing and selling of her image that vaught/her mom was doing.

    Typical insecurity. I worked in the movie industry for a decade in the early 2000s and it is simultaneously the most narcissistic and self-absorbed while also being low in self-esteem group of people I've ever had the displeasure to work around. I believe it stems from the type of personality that seeks out recognition from others. These personality types are who become our entertainers. Their locus of self-worth is directly tied to their perception of how other people see them. Their self worth is external to themselves. Especially actresses who far more than their male counterparts have a large portion of their salability tied to their appearance. They have to "look" a certain way just to be considered for a part even if that part is not ethnically or aesthetically specific. There's a reason the best plastic surgeons and cosmetic dentists are in LA. There's a reason why LA is littered with spas, wellness centers and "body" shops. Image is everything and this will drive otherwise beautiful women to engage in whatever the latest beauty trend happens to be in order not to get beat out for the "next big role".

    It's like a cult... the pressure of failure and stardom... even the casting director are pricks.

    It's sad reality but with females more than men. (Although I do think there is a lot of brainwashing/vanity)
