    Why is he a weirdo? I mean, I didn't know there were different waves of feminism, admittedly, but I've seen far more of Emma talking about the various causes and issues she feels strongly about than I have of her acting, so he kind of has a point...

    She’s gotten very selective about film roles but her career certainly isn’t in the toilet. Her last three movies are ‘Little Women”, a movie costarring Tom Hanks, and “Beauty & the Beast”. She hasn’t exactly slid to the D-list :dunno:

    Her opinions really aren't that uncommon amongst the Hollywood elite
    Little Women was 2019, which seems a lifetime ago now, and those other two films were 2017, which was even longer ago. From what I hear she also doesn't have any roles upcoming.

    Well, i highly doubt she is in need of any money given that she is rich from the potter franchise. If she wanted more roles she could have them by now, it seems more that acting is kind of a hobby for her now instead of a job, hence why she focuses more on political stuff. Stuff that people in entertainment industry don't particularly like their actors to be involved in for various reasons.

    maybe that’s her choice? I doubt she went from starring in major films to having trouble finding work. Those ‘HP’ residuals will pay the bills until the end of time so she can afford to stay home and, I assume, read books and do squats.

    That's what often happens with former child stars.

    In any case, speculation about her career would be just that, speculation. All I know is she doesn't have anything upcoming and her last big films were a couple years ago now

    It's exciting that Emma has created such strong opinions in you guys!

    I believe the truth is that she is doing work with real meaning and impact for the world outside of acting (UN) and she has dedicated to improving herself and the situation of all other women on the planet through her studies on Feminism.

    Emma is an A-List actor who picks only the roles she feels further the cause or have the integrity she insists upon.

    She is a truly rare and inspiring example to all, men included.
